Our Process
 
1. Soften the Leather (Two Methods)
Conditioning Spray: We mist the glove with a pro conditioning solution to safely soften the leather surface and seams.
 
Full Water Submersion (on request): For maximum malleability, we fully submerge the glove, then proceed immediately to shaping while the leather is pliable.
 
2. Preserve & Prep the Laces
We untie all primary knots and gently stretch/work the laces to prevent breakage and allow the glove to flex freely during shaping.

3. Create Natural Hinge Points
By hand, we establish smooth hinge lines at the heel and along key flex zones so the glove closes cleanly without fighting the leather.

4. Form the Pocket
Using a glove mallet or weighted ball, we form your preferred pocket profile (deep transfer, neutral, or shallow), aligning it with your position and play style.

5. Target Stiff Spots
We smash stubborn, stiff areas with a heavy-duty glove hammer—controlled strikes that relax dense leather and remove hot spots in the close.

6. Relace & Tension
Knots are re-tied and lace tension is balanced throughout fingers, web, and heel to lock in structure and ensure a consistent, confident close.

7. Dry & Set the Shape
The glove is allowed to air-dry in a supported wrap so the pocket and hinge lines set into the desired form.

8. Final Conditioning & Finish
Once dry, we apply a professional-grade conditioner to restore moisture balance, then buff for a clean, non-greasy finish—game-ready feel from first catch.
